At the Annual Meeting Foundation Booth, donors had the chance to take photo and placed it on an African road image. This is to support a charitable organization that provides comfort, care and support to grandmothers and children affected by theHIV/AIDS panademic in Africa.

A speaker sharing her disability story

Dr. Rosemarie Rossetti wants to let people know how disability changed her life and how receiving disability income cheque every month made all the difference.
What happened to cause her in wheelchair? A tree fell on her while she was taking a bicycle ride 10 years ago.
She reviewed the kinds of expenses she incurred due to her accident. These included hospital bills, the personal care attendant, the raised toilet seat, the shower bench, the $4,000 wheelchair, the home modifications and a van with modifications so that she can drive with hand controls.
After her sharing, I felt that I must really do my duty well to inform my clients about bulletproofing from a financial tsunami after an accident.

Interacting with Japanese Financial Planners

I had the opportunity to interact with these Japanese financial planners whom are in this wealth management business for more than a quarter-century. They shared passionately on how they design their clients' financial lives.

Financial Planning Seminar in Tokyo

I attended the Financial Planning seminar in Chiba, Tokyo from 11 April to 13 April 2008. This seminar was organized by MDRT, The premier association of financial professionals.
